FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this real therapy?
Yes — every group is led by a licensed psychologist, psychotherapist or accredited counsellor whose credentials we verify before they can host. Group therapy is a well-researched format in its own right, not a lighter substitute. That said, it isn't crisis care: if you're in immediate distress, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.
How much does it cost?
Each therapist sets their own price — most sessions run between €10 and €35. At checkout, a 10% booking fee is added to the session price. That's it: no membership, no subscription, no hidden charges. You only ever pay for what you book.
What's the difference between a drop-in and a program?
A drop-in is a single session you book one at a time — open circles and webinars where new faces are welcome each week. A program is a closed group with a fixed length, for example 13 weeks with one session per week: the same people, the same therapist, building on each other session after session. You reserve your place for the whole run.
Do I have to talk in the sessions?
No. Listening is participating too, and many people spend their first sessions just taking it in. Therapists set a clear group agreement at the start — nobody is put on the spot or forced to share before they're ready.
Is it confidential?
Yes. Every group starts with a confidentiality agreement that all members commit to. Online sessions run in our encrypted video room and are never recorded. You can also join with your first name only.
What if I need to cancel a booking?
Each group shows its cancellation policy before you book — typically a full refund up to 24 hours before a drop-in session. Programs usually allow a full refund before the first session; after that it depends on the therapist's policy, which is always shown upfront.
Can I try a program before committing?
Often, yes. Many therapists run an open intro session or a drop-in taster before a program starts — look for the "intro session" note on the program page. You can also message the therapist directly with questions before reserving your place.
What languages and time zones are covered?
Groups run in English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese and more, across European, American and Asian time zones. Use the language and schedule filters when browsing — every listing shows its time in your local time zone.
